She will ask you questions calculated to help her understand your goals. Typically, Vonda is able to tell you during the initial consultation what your rights are and what options you have to protect your rights and to pursue your goals.
The initial consultation is an important meeting in which the client and the attorney share information and begin to strategize the case. This meeting usually lasts one to two hours. Vonda charges one hour for the initial consultation, even if the consultation is longer than one hour. If the consultation is more than two hours, Vonda charges her hourly rate for the time exceeding two hours, in addition to the fee for the first two hours.
